HOW TO ADD REPO TO THE PACKAGE MANAGER

Repo are like addition source to the package manager,package manager comes with some default repo but in ored to get apps and extension from other the developer of these apps and tweaks may have there own repo or save it in another repo for their convenience

Step 1:open cydia on the bottom click on the  source tab

Step 2:In the source tab press the edit button

Step 3:And press the add button

Step 4:Then enter the repo link in the field and press ok add source(cydia will go into command line like interface it will load then click return to cydia once the process is completed)

This this are not in particular order

1.Install newer package manager  :

Most jailbreak exploit come with cydia as its default package manager but to be honest cydia feels     very much outdated look wise as well as it functional wise it lacks many thing compare to modern package managers available for the device

My recommendation is Installer 5 this is a modern manager for jailbroken devices

2.install appsync unified 

AppSync Unified is a tweak that allows users to freely install altered, fakesigned, or unsigned IPA app packages on their iOS devices that iOS may otherwise consider invalid app packages

Some popular use cases include:

• Installing freely-distributed applications that are not available from the apple App Store without having to re-sign the app every 7 days (if the user does not have a subscribe to the Apple Developer Program)
• Assisting in the development of iOS applications with Xcode
• Cloning or downgrading already-installed apps

By using it you can easily install apps without needing to re-sign using methods like altstore etc..

3.installing custom themes :

This is a very personal and fun aspect of the jailbroken device people often jailbreak there device so that they can change the boring iphone user interface

There is an easy way to theme the entire device by installing snowboard

Snowboard:

Snowboard is a theme engine for jailbroken devices that can change the entire feel and aesthetics of your device completely to unlock its full potential. You need to install its extension so that you can change different parts of the device, for example the icon extension used to change the icons ,dock,menu bar extension . if you only want to change icon then install only the icons extensions

4.Installing filza

Filza is one of the essential tools for the jailbroken device,filza is a powerful file manager for the iphone it allow access to the root file of your device     which is not available for non jailbroken devices it also includes unzipping,copy,paste file creation etc…

Filza is a paid software but don’t worry there is no need to pay for it to use the full functionality of the software

5.insatall icleaner :

Icleaner is a cleaning utility for ios device which scan the entire root system and find duplicate, unused dependency ,remaining ota update and remove them it give lot of storage of the iphone with we really need

2.SEMI-TETHERED JAILBREAK

    A semi-tethered jailbreak is one that allows a handset to complete a boot cycle after gaining root access to the device, but jailbreak tweaks won’t load until a computer-oriented jailbreak is deployed over a physical connection between the device and the computer 

3.SEMI-UNTETHERED JAILBREAK

        A semi-untethered jailbreak is one that allows a handset to completely  boot after being jailbroken, but jailbreak tweaks won’t load until a side-loaded jailbreak app on the device itself is deployed.

4.UNTETHERED JAILBREAK

    An untethered jailbreak is one that allows a handset to completely boot after being jailbroken without any interruption to jailbreak-related functionality.

Recently developed jailbreaks are normal semi-untethered jailbreaks 

How to jailbreak your iphone & ipads

BEFORE JAILBREAKING BACKUP YOUR DATA THE FOLLOWING METHODS WILL NOT DELETE YOUR DATA BUT BACKUP YOUR DATA JUST IN CASE 

    1.This process is entirely depends upon what device you have in which software version your device runs on 

    2.Semi-untethered jailbreaking requires computer

If you have A7-A11 devices (iphone 5s to iphone x)  on any version iOS & iPadOS upto v. 14.8.1  you can easily jailbreak using checkra1n 

HOW TO JAILBREAK USING CHECKRA1N FOR MAC OS

Step 1: Go to checkra1n webpage and download the the latest DMG

Step 2: install the checkra1n DMG on the mac and open it

Step 3:connect your iphone to the computer  and press start

Step 4:follow to on screen instruction

Step 5:if there is no errors you will see the new checkra1n app on your home screen

HOW TO JAILBREAK USING CHECKRA1N FOR WINDOWS

Step 1: Dual boot you pc with linux (debian based distro)

Step 2:open your terminal and copy paste the following commands 

    1.wget -O – https://assets.checkra.in/debian/archive.key | gpg –dearmor | sudo tee   /usr/share/keyrings/checkra1n.gpg >/dev/null

    2.echo ‘deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/checkra1n.gpg] https://assets.checkra.in/debian /’ | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/checkra1n.list

    3.sudo apt-get update

    4.sudo apt-get install checkra1n

Step 3: after running the above command type sudo checkra1n on the terminal (it will prompt to enter your password )

Step 4:  connect your iphone to the computer  and press start

Step 5:  follow to on screen instruction 

Step 6:  if there is no errors you will see the new checkra1n app on your home screen

If you dual boot your pc with other distro that is not based on debian you can three are cli tools for checkra1n that are available for checkra1n official web page for easy of use install linux distro based on debian

THE ABOVE STEPS ARE SIMILAR FOR IPAD AS WELL

IF YOU HAVE NEW DEVICE IPHONE XS AND ABOVE THE PROCESS WILL DEPEND TO THE VERSION OF YOUR IOS DEVICE FOR NEWER DEVICE WE WILL BE USING UNC0VER 

Step 1: Download the unc0ver app 

Step 2:install the ipa file using alt store (How to install alt store)

Step 3: go to the settings and give the permission for the app (setting>General>profiles)

Step 4: open the unc0ver app and see weather your ios version is compatible or not 

Step 5: if you version is compatible press the jailbreak button,this will take multiple restarts and need to press jailbreak button again 

Step 6: after rebooting and process is completed, you successfully jailbroken your iphone
